     The alumni of the institute hold responsible and enviable positions all over the world and are in constant touch with the institute.

The broad objectives of the Alumni Association are:
•        To bring the alumni together, to keep them in contact with the Alma Mater
•         To foster relationships between the alumni and the present students
•         To get participation of alumni in the developmental activities of the college
•         To provide financial help to deserving students subject to the availability of fund
•        To strengthen Industry Institute ties through alumni members
•        To improve placement opportunities for fellow alumni and fresh graduates.

Activities
Alumni association arranges regular interactions for its members,at least once or twice every year. In the last two years, alumni meets were conducted at Guntur on Feb.25, 2006 and on Dec.02, 2006. The third one was conducted at Hyderabad on April 30, 2007 and a fourth one on Dec. 24, 2007 again at Guntur.

The meetings are attended by the alumni in large numbers. The participants share their experiences and give valuable inputs. In the previous meetings mentioned above, the alumni came up with the following suggestions:
•        The monthly newsletter ‘VOICE’ of Vignan may be delivered to the alumni every month in e-format.
•        Frequent Guest lectures by alumni may be arranged.
•        The industry institute interactions be conducted more frequently.

Alumni Contribution :
The alumni visit the college and give guest lectures for the benefit of the junior students. The alumni are also the brand ambassadors of the institution and promote the image of the institution in the organizations where they are working. During the last academic year, 13 prominent alumni were invited to address the students at the college.

The alumni in their formal and informal talks enlighten the students
•        about career planning and personal management
•        give online personal counseling about the student admission policies in foreign universities
•        Ex: ‘VEC to U.S.’, is the online forum through which juniors interact with alumni, studying and working in U.S.
•        A few alumni have also generously created a poor students fund and some others instituted cash prizes for best out-going students.
