Quality Assurance
Every Practice at the university is evolved keeping the student at the center of the programme. Right from the planning to the monitoring of the teaching-learning transaction, everything is meticulously devised to make the various layers in the systems accountable and qualitative to the learner. Accountability is assured through the following means:

Planning
  • The course syllabus, lecture plans, and other handouts are given to the students at the beginning of the semester/year and also intimated to the parents. Students and parents are advised to check and enquire, if there is any deviation in the plan. This ensures that both, staff and administration are answerable to the stakeholders.

Course Monitoring Committee (CMC)
  • The CMC monitors the course coverage once in a fortnight. Wherever syllabus coverage is found lagging, special classes are planned to complete the course in time.
  • Student feedback:        Feedback is formally collected from the students twice every semester and several times informally. The feedback collected is reviewed. The faculty who obtain inadequate feedback are advised to take further training by attending orientation programs.
  • Continuous analysis of the feedback reduces entropy in the system.

Performance Monitoring
  • Right from the time of admission, performance of every student is carefully monitored. After every exam, the examination cell sends appraisal reports to the parents and Heads of Departments. Based on these reports, faculty counselors take up counseling of poor performers & try to assess reasons for poor performance.
  • Periodical meetings are conducted by the Principal and Heads of Departments to review the results of internal and external exams.
  • Special classes are planned for slow learners.
  • The analysis of university end examination results is carried out.
  • Special classes are planned for the students having backlogs.

       Other Quality enhancement programmes are also designed to improve the communication skills, soft skills, and domain–knowledge and to enhance the employability skills of the students. Guest lectures are also periodically organized to update the students in the emerging areas. Lectures on ethics help to inculcate social and personal values in students. Besides these, skills of sound management and team spirit are imparted to students by involving them in the organization and conduction of various campus events and Youth festivals.
