The Training & Placement Facility at the institution explores every possible opportunity to strengthen the Industry- Academia relationship. A team of experienced in-house trainers at the institution in collaboration with faculty members of other departments as well as external training agencies, conduct continuous training programmes to impart soft skills and domain skills that are sought by the industry. Besides generating awareness among the outgoing students about the job prospects in various sectors of the industry, the T&P cell organises recruitment drives for the final year students.

            The Institute’s T&P Cell continues to support the students even after they graduate and leave the college. It maintains contact with the recruiting personnel of various companies and arranges campus drives for passed out students.

            On an average 65% of students are placed during the last 5 years. The college was given a special award of appreciation by the Chief Minister of A.P in the academic year 2006-07, for achieving the highest number of placements.

The T&P Cell also :
• Creates awareness among the students and parents about the trends of employment.
• Gives enough publicity about the job prospects for students of each discipline of study while giving them details of recruitment procedures of various companies, pay structures, growth opportunities etc.
• Maintains regular contact with reputed companies to facilitate the conduction of campus recruitment drives.
• Arranges training for students with the help of in-house staff as well as external experts to bolster confidence levels among students.
• Conducts personality development programmes in the form of Group Discussions, making brief presentations all through the year.

The T&P facility also encourages and develops entrepreneurial skills among the students by organizing

• Guest lectures by leading professionals of the industry.
• Guest lectures by enterprising alumni.
• Workshops by industries, Government departments and financial institutions to educate students of potential avenues, the available incentives, Govt. subsidies, financing bodies etc
