       Ibm has conducated certification Exam on DB2 and RFT on 14 and 15th july 2010.Totaly 152(187) and 66(66) students from B.Tech (CSE &IT) and M.Tech(CSE && IT). cleared the examination and got Certification certified by IBM.        Ibm has conducated certification Exam on IBM Tivoli Tool.Totaly 87 students from B.Tech (CSE &IT). 85 of them were passed the examination and got Certification certified by IBM.        Protects critical data from equipment failure or environmental factors, and provides utilities to create backup scripts and schedules for easier task automation for businesses of any size Enables the choice of several types of backups, including full system (installation image), volume group, file system, file or directory, and raw logical volume Supports configuration of network ports to communicate through firewalls and Pass-thru support for all AIX operating system language locales Allows for the storage of backup objects into an IBM Tivoli Storage Manager server, and can back up any non-rootvg data Integrates network boot and install features in support of RS/6000 SP systems, and provides Offline Mirror Backup options to enable simultaneous user and system access to active copies of data        Ibm has conducated certification Exam on IBM RAD 255.Totaly 101 students and 5 staff member of CSE,IT,MCA have attended to examiniation .Totally 103 members are passed and certified by IBM.        These programmes include a range of activities like self-introduction, role-play, debates, group discussions, essay writing, anecdote narration etc. These programmes are very effective because of their proven power to transform even the most shy and diffident students and help in instilling in them a new energy and motivation leading to success oriented action.        Mr. Himanshu Goyal, IBM Country Manager and Mr. Sekar Saravanan had inaugurated “The Center of Excellence of IBM Software” at Vignan University campus on 18th Nov at 10 AM. Vignan University is the 5th center in Andhra Pradesh. The other centers are at Vizag, Tirupathi & Hyderabad.        Vignan University has organized 3 day work shop on “IBM DB2” sponsored by IBM. Resource persons from IBM Er. Niladri Sekhar Dey IBM Academic Initiative Resource IBM Software Group have delivered the concepts. Faculty & Student of Vignan University has attended the workshop.        Workshop ended with IBM DB2 Certification Examination. Examination was conducted by IBM in which totally 49 candidates got qualified and certified as IBM DB2 Associate
