Student Achievements
- Mr.S.Vedavyas, student of IV B.Tech (Biotechnology) bagged 2nd Prize at Shaastra-2011 held at IIT-Madras during 28th September – 2nd October, 2011 for his research paper on cancer, where as the first prize was bagged by MS student of MIT, USA. Mr.Vedavyas submitted his research paper entitled “Tubal ligation may be the root cause of cancer in females”. He carried out his research work on cancer patients at Bommidala Cancer Institute, Guntur.
- Ms. Aishwarya and Mr. Sambasiva Reddy were selected in BCIL- DBT Sponsored Training programme 2010.
- Ms..V.Sunanda, Ms.G Preethi & Ms.T.Pravallika of IV B.Tech had been awarded a consolation prize for the project entitled “Somatic cell fusion and innovative approach for the production of Cybrids” in Technical Project Exhibition, Mahostav, 2009.
- Mr.P.Krishna Chaitanya (06391A2315) won first prize for paper presentation in National Seminar on “Agricultural Biotechnology” on “Biological Activities of Typha angustata and Agave americana” held at JKC College on 10th February, 2009
